Associate Professor Chan Sui Yung, is a distinguished researcher and educator with extensive expertise in the fields of pharmacy education, research and practice throughout her 5-decade career. Prof. Chan is a pharmacist by profession, having graduated from NUS Pharmacy in 1981. She completed her part-time MBA at NUS in 1988, and PhD at Queen’s University of Belfast, UK in 1991, following which Prof. Chan served as the Pharmacy Manager at Tan Tock Seng Hospital from 1992 - 1995. She was the former Head of the Department of Pharmacy at NUS, where she oversaw the development and expansion of different pharmacy-related undergraduate and graduate programmes. As an ex-member of the Singapore Pharmacy Council, Ministry of Health, Prof. Chan had participated in drafting pharmacy profession-related legislations and contributed to several of the Council’s achievements. In 2020, in recognition of her contributions, Prof. Chan was awarded the title of Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Singapore, and was honored with The Long Service Medal by the Ministry of Education, as part of the National Day Awards in Singapore.
In addition, Prof. Chan has also led a team of researchers at the Department of Pharmacy under Faculty of Science at NUS to develop easy-to-use medicated oral films that enable painless, efficient, and discreet drug administration. The medicated oral film is being commercialised through PharLyfe+, an NUS start-up she co-founded with her students, supported by the NUS Graduate Research Innovation Programme (GRIP).
Linda is Director of the AI Competence Center and Head of Ecosystem & Partnerships at German Entrepreneurship Asia. She empowers and connects AI innovators, and cultivates relationships with key ecosystem players and partner organizations.
She was most recently Program Head of Ecosystem Development (Incubation) at the entrepreneurial arm of the National University of Singapore (NUS Enterprise). In her role, she led the cybersecurity innovation initiatives for the region’s first cybersecurity entrepreneur hub and hosted the first International Women in Cyber Day event in Singapore.
Linda champions women’s initiatives, organizing women in tech events and as a Female Founders Sub-Committee member of ACE.sg, Member of “Women Corporate Directors”, and Board Member of the American Women’s Association of Singapore.

Besides bringing the team to achieve the Gold Award for Influencer Agency of the Year 2020, 2021, & 2022, her leadership and foresight have also led Kobe to be the official Meta Business Partner (formerly known as Facebook) and Tiktok Partner. Evangeline is also a practising management consultant (PMC) who has taught more than 1,000 students on influencer marketing-related topics at Kobe Academy.
Puiyan Leung is a Partner at Vertex Ventures Southeast Asia and India, looking at opportunities spanning consumer to sustainability. Prior to joining Vertex Ventures, Puiyan was a Director of Investments and Operations at Singtel Innov8, the corporate venture arm of telco group Singtel. In her role, she built a pipeline of tech startups that fit with the firm’s investment themes and established strategic alliances and managed partnerships with key ecosystem stakeholders.
Prior to that, Puiyan assumed a range of operating roles and once served as Singtel’s Indonesia-based lead in representing the local market development and expansion interests for Singtel’s digital portfolio.
Puiyan is a Kauffman Fellow and graduated with a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering Degree from the National University of Singapore.
Serene started her career as a scholar in the government service. Curious about entrepreneurship, she joined a unicorn startup where she got her first taste of business building. Today, Serene runs vibefam, a business software that aims to unlock the potential of health and lifestyle businesses by helping them with payments, reservations and marketing automations. Today, vibefam is powering more than 100 businesses across Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong with more than 100,000 user sign ups since it launched 2 years ago.
