ACE X IPOS workshop: Pitching the Value of Your Enterprise through IA Disclosure 20 September 2022 ACE and the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS) hosted a workshop for the startup community on intangible assets (IA) – what they are, their value, and how businesses should leverage IA for growth. “The value of intangibles is increasing and is showing to be recession-proof during recent times,” said Tan Wei Hao from IPOS as he expounded on why intangibles should be a key component of startups' business development strategies. ACE also invited two founders to share their insights at the workshop. Keefe Wayne Teo of Fabrica AI and Irene Zhu of Unistop Tech talked about their business journey and highlighted that it is never too early for startups to start looking into intellectual property and copyrights. While IPs may be costly, they are necessary, and finding the right balance is important.
