Panaonic Deep Tech Innovation Challenge 4 Panasonic, together with ACE, is launching the fourth run of the “Panasonic Deep Tech Innovation Challenge” (DTIC 4).
In line with the broader trend of adopting technology, Panasonic is looking for partners to build on its ozone water device technology and fast data transfer technology.
Selected applicants will be given the opportunity to conduct a joint proof of concept project and embark on a joint venture with Panasonic. Cash prizes will also be awarded to winners.

Fukuoka x Singapore Pitching and Networking Session 26 September 2022 ACE, together with Startup GoGo!, JETRO - Japan External Trade Organization and Startup City Fukuoka, recently hosted a Fukuoka x Singapore Pitching & Networking Session at the ACE Ideation Centre.
The event featured pitches and reverse pitches by several Japanese startups and corporations including anect, Angoya, Kaico, Nayuta, FFG Venture Business Partners, QTnet, Toppan Inc, and Nishi-Nippon Railroad Co. Ltd.
Singapore startups like SmartFuture, ELXR, Trabble, Lalia and Scribe Zero also pitched to the audience consisting investors, founders, and other ecosystem stakeholders.

LaunchPad Demo Day 27 September 2022
ACE, Awesome Ventures and YSK Partners jointly held a LaunchPad Demo Day at the ACE Ideation Centre recently.
Four Korean startups — The Director by FrontRow, Robogram, Cobalt, and Kooky — were selected to pitch their innovative solutions to the audience comprising investors, accelerators, Government officials and other ecosystem stakeholders.

Together with seven founders and business leaders, we discussed the challenges that startups face and how the government and ACE could better support startups. Vietnam Global Innovation
Quest Ventures is holding its sixth iteration of the Vietnam Global Innovation (VNGI) programme to accelerate startups’ market entry and position them for success in Vietnam. It will be held from 14 November till 16 December this year. Participants will be able to gain access to world class mentors and programmes, glean useful insights from a diverse line-up of speakers on the Vietnam startup ecosystem, and connect with VC investors for funding. |

Media Briefing on Innovation & Startups
Investments in startups grew by more than 45 per cent per annum to reach S$14.7 billion in 2021. Venture funding within the first half of 2022 alone has reached S$8.18 billion, made across 388 deals, up 54 per cent compared to the same period last year. This was announced during the Enterprise Singapore's Innovation & Startups Media Briefing held at the ACE Ideation Centre recently.
On top of various initiatives such as the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH), the Global Innovation Alliance (GIA) programmes, IPI, Centres of Innovation (COIs), and Open Innovation Challenges, EnterpriseSG’s Director Lim Seow Hui also talked about the Global Ready Talent (GRT) programme that is building a pipeline of talents for startups in Singapore. Facilitated by ACE, the GRT programme has supported over 240 Singapore startups since 2019.

It contains information on what trade secrets are, how they can be protected or managed, case studies and a list of trade secret tools available to enterprises. This guide was jointly developed by IPOS, ACE, ESG, SBF, SFA and SGTech. |
