Patrick leads PwC’s Asset & Wealth Management and Venture Hub practice, with over 19 years of experience across Asia and Europe. His global experience has allowed him to be an enabler in the ecosystem, connecting tech companies with investors and clients, and be a trusted advisor to stakeholders in the ecosystem.

Patrick is actively involved in the venture ecosystem where he has done project structuring, strategy optimization and deal sourcing for technology investors and entrepreneurs.

Patrick is licenced by MAS to provide financial advisory services to tech companies. He has advised tech companies in areas of commercialisation, fundraising and strategy.

Patrick is responsible for building PwC Singapore’s investment portfolio consisting of technology startups across different industries. He sits on PwC’s Global New Ventures committee overseeing the commercialization of PwC SaaS products. He is also a serial angel investor and works with VC firms on their investments.

Max is a Partner in PwC’s Venture Hub, with more than 15 years of experience in strategy and M&A. Max focuses on supporting tech businesses with their growth acceleration and fundraising. He supports companies in areas such as market opportunity analysis and planning, business and market entry strategy, internationalisation, and buy and sell-side advisory. Max is also licensed by MAS for financial advisory services.

Max’s clients include large technology firms such as Ant Financial, Facebook, AWS, Google etc., providing market expansion strategy and deal advisory support within Asia Pacific. Max also supported investors in their assessment of local tech businesses, such as Bukalapak, Deskera, Shopmatic, Chope, etc.

Max has delivered a number of presentations and masterclasses organised by IMDA, ESG and EDB, and is also a mentor in various accelerators and programmes.

Max has been based in Singapore for ~10 years. Prior to joining PwC Singapore, Max was a Manager in PwC France’s Strategy Advisory practice, focusing on the tech industry.

Boon Ping is Partner at Cento, leading its investment strategy and deal origination efforts, in addition to serving as a member of the investment committee of Cento III. He bring his extensive experience of more than 20 years in venture capital and M&A in the technology, media and telecommunications sectors. Prior to Cento, he was the CEO of Straits Capital Investment Pte Ltd("Straits Capital") from 2014 till Jan 2023. Straits Capital is the corporate venture fund of SPH (Singapore Press Holdings), one of the largest media group in South East Asia. In that role, he managed a corporate venture fund totaling in excess of U$70 million that he invested with a global multi-stage mandate into technology companies. Prior to that, Boon Ping served as Senior Vice President of EDBi, the investment subsidiary of ED (Economic Development Board of Singapore), the government agency leading innovation and economic initiatives for the Republic of Singapore. He was responsible for leading its Technology investment team. Boon Ping is a Singaporean and holds a Bachelor of Engineering (with Honours) and a Master in Business Administration (Banking & Finance) from Nanvang Technological University. He passed CFA Level 3 exam in 2001.

Bennett has more than a decade of Private Equity & Venture Capital, Investment Banking and Equity Research experience across the Technology, Financial Services, Consumer, Healthcare and F&B sectors. He has equity research coverage, executed complex cross border IPOs, PE/VC, Restructuring and M&A transactions with a combined value of more than ~US$50 Billion. Bennett is currently a Partner & Investment Director with Velocity Ventures specializing in South East Asia growth equity investments.

Prior to joining Velocity Ventures, Bennett was an Investment Director with Caber Partners where he evaluated and executed Private Equity investment opportunities in the Financial Services and Technology sectors in Asia. Before Caber Partners, he was an Investment Associate at Golden Equator Capital, a mid-market Private Equity and Venture Capital firm where he focused on growth equity investments in a wide range of industries in Southeast Asia. He has also worked in UOB KH and BNP Paribas in Equity Research and Investment Banking Global Markets roles respectively.

Bennett has extensive board experience with more than 25 portfolio companies and advised on turnarounds, M&A, spinoffs and corporate development. He currently serves as Advisor and Mentor to Singapore Tourism Board Accelerator, Plug and Play, Korea Tourism Organization and has been a keynote speaker at regional conferences such as Tech in Asia and Singapore Fintech Festival. Bennett is currently a CAIA Singapore Chapter Executive for Private Equity & Venture Capital and also Co-chairs the CFA Singapore Career Development Committee.

Bennett holds a B.A. in Economics from the National University of Singapore and is a graduate of the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School Executive education program. He also holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designations.
