Tim Rath is a serial tech entrepreneur and investor based in Singapore. He is the Founder and CEO of AIxlerator, a company builder focused on AI and deep tech game changers.

Tim’s career has been driven by a strong passion for building B2C and B2B technology businesses from the ground up. He founded Tycho Capital, a global advisory, investment, and venture building company, in 2018. Under his leadership, Tycho Capital has been helping fast-growing companies as their executive advisor and early investor, including Lepaya, Antler and Hoolah among others. Tim advises a number of publicly listed companies on their digital transformation and venture building initiatives and is an advisor to global venture capital and private equity funds on realizing hyper-growth and transformation scenarios.

Prior to Tycho Capital, Tim co-founded and built Lazada into one of Southeast Asia’s most successful unicorns. Tim designed and led the transformation of the business into the region’s largest online marketplace with operations in Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, Singapore, and China. He also spearheaded Lazada’s funding rounds, raising more than USD1.5 billion from investors such as Verlinvest, Tesco, Temasek and Alibaba. Following Lazada’s rapid growth, Alibaba Group purchased a controlling stake in 2016 and Tim stepped down from the business in March 2018.

Tim began his career at Dechert LLP prior to joining The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Germany.

She previously founded AROMEO in Hong Kong, which merged technology with wellness to enhance consumer environments. AROMEO's flagship aroma diffuser product won "Most Innovative" Award for Sleep Category in CES Las Vegas 2021.

Dr. Kirsty Tan, a distinguished figure in the realms of technology, sustainability, and aviation, co-founded the Circular Economy Alliance. Her professional journey is marked by a significant role as the International Dean of a globally acclaimed EMBA program, focusing on Future Tech and Aerospace, a tenure that spanned over a decade. This program, a joint venture between esteemed French and Chinese institutions (Ecole des Ponts ParisTech, ENAC, and Tsinghua University), achieved worldwide acclaim under her leadership. In addition, she was a visiting professor at HKUST, Tsinghua University, Tongji University in China, Ecole des Ponts and ISEG in France, EHTP in Morocco, Abu Dhabi University in UAE and Royal University of Bhutan in Bhutan.

She successfully orchestrated the establishment of the Sino-French Aviation University in Hangzhou, China, a significant project endorsed by Presidents Xi Jinping and Emmanuel Macron, marking its groundbreaking in 2019. Her strategic leadership extended to developing and implementing market-specific strategies for academic programs across diverse regions including China, India, the UAE, Southeast Asia, and Canada, significantly boosting the global brand presence of French grandes écoles. Additionally, she led complex multinational M&A deals involving multiple stakeholders, including president offices and ministries across Europe and Asia.

Her initial career path began in the field of Chartered Accounting, where she made her mark at leading organizations such as Pacific Brands and Qantas Airways in Australia, and at KPMG Consulting in the USA. Following this, she founded KST Global Consulting, a firm providing services to top-tier Fortune 500 companies. Her consultancy acumen encompasses a broad spectrum of expertise, from business strategy and financial management to global IT consulting.

Dr. Tan currently holds influential positions as an Advisor at Knighthood Global and as a member of the Editorial Board at the International Leadership Journal. Her contributions to thought leadership in these roles are substantial, including numerous publications and a business case study on Chinese entrepreneurship.
